Kelly Day
Kelly Day serves as the annual alumni and research weekend of Emory’s Department of Orthopaedics. The program is two days in length, consisting of research presentations and awards banquet Friday, followed by the annual Greater Fleming Open golf tournament on Saturday. A guest professor is invited each year from around the country to serve as guest of honor, judging resident research presentations and delivering several talks on clinical topics of interest. Research projects are presented by each PGY-3 and PGY-5 resident, with the top three projects winning awards.
This year’s Kelly Day will be held April 17th-18th, 2009. The guest professor is Richard J. Hawkins of the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic. Please join us for an exciting weekend.
Alumni Giving
The private support Emory Orthopaedics receives from friends and alumni is a critical component in fulfilling our mission to provide outstanding clinical care, research, and teaching. Private support helps close the gap caused by shrinking dollars from traditional sources. Gifts provide the flexibility to initiate new research, try new training programs, and provide the quality patient care we are committed to.
